Samir Barac captained Croatia during the 2012 Olympic Gold Medal success. He was the driving force behind Croatia’s first ever Olympic gold medal in waterpolo.

Apart from last year’s gold medal, he has also won an Olympic Silver medal, one gold and two bronze at the world championships, one gold and two silver at the European Championships, one silver at the FINA World Cup and one gold, one silver and two bronze at the FINA World League.

He joined the blues in 2013.
